Trump confirms he asked FIFA for review of Folarin Balogun red card

In a shocking twist hours before tonight’s massive USMNT vs. Belgium knockout match, FIFA has completely overturned star striker Folarin Balogun’s red card suspension—allowing him to play tonight. 

The decision came after Donald Trump personally phoned FIFA President Gianni Infantino to protest the call. 

Addressing the press, Trump insisted: “All I did was ask for a review… That wasn’t a foul, it was two great athletes crashing into each other.” He then added that if the US loses tonight, the match is “rigged.” 

While the US camp is relieved, European football governing body UEFA is furious, claiming FIFA has officially “crossed a red line” and ruined the sport’s integrity.
